Cosy and friendly local community pub about 20 minutes walk (or direct bus route) from Chelmsford city centre. Three separate rooms, with a quiet area on the left as you enter. Serving home cooked meals Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Other times pasties and sausage rolls are available. Hosting mini beer festivals, tap takeovers and regular charity events. Sun trap garden and dog friendly. Regularly changing selection of cask ales. Monthly special beer 'Loopy Juice' something strong or different.

Closed Mondays but open Bank Holidays.
