May 2007 Update

The Parish Plan is already showing results!

Police - residents were worried about the lack of Police presence in the Village.  Already the Police been walking around the village of a number of occasions.

Communication - it was suggested that a newsletter was written and distributed to the residents of Great and Little Chishill.  We are now in the process producing the third consecutive issue.

Speeding - there is now group of 7 people how have volunteered to help tackle this problem.  They are having their first meeting in the next couple of weeks.

Youth - the younger generations really wanted a Youth Club / Youth Group.  Jo Shickell and her team are well into the process of setting this up.

Action Plan

Many residents attend the Parish Council AGM on Friday 18th May 2007 at the Village Hall.  Tim Scott presented an update on the Parish Plan and had copies of the Draft Action Plan available for anyone who wanted one.  He also said that he would also put the document on the Village Web site and it follows below.  However, It must be stressed that this is very much a working document.
