More fine music from Royston Choral Society
The Royston Choral Society is back this autumn with some serious choral music, singing Mozart’s Requiem and Morten Lauridsen’s Lux Aeterna.
Mozart’s Requiem was his last and, for many, his greatest work. Lauridsen’s Lux Aeterna has been described as ‘a classic of new American choral writing’. Our choir of 40+ local singers will be accompanied by an orchestra consisting also of local musicians. “Fine music made locally”!
Tickets are available from Royston Library, choir members and on the door, priced £10, £8 concessions, £1 ‘still at school’. |
